Web Push Notifications for iPhone and iPad - Apple iOS?

Apple still hasn't added support for Push API on iOS. So, for now, web push notifications are still not supported on the iPhone or the iPad. Last time we had heard that WebKit will be bringing support for Web Push to iOS within a few years at their Contributors conference back in 2015. While Service Workers were introduced to pave the way for web push notifications on iOS, Push API has still not been implemented.

Web Push has made its way to all browsers, and even Apple has added support for Safari on MacOS but not on iOS. We are hopeful that Apple will add support for the API soon on its mobile platform, and marketers would have far better reach with the inclusion of iPhones and iPads to the mix.
